Doctors for a Healthier Bronx Walk-a-thon - May 24th, 2011: BODY members participated in the annual Doctors for a Healthier Bronx Walk-a-thon to promote a healthy lifestyle for Bronx residents.

Garden Volunteer Day - October 1st, 2011: We had over twenty volunteers, comprised of students and Montefiore volunteers, come out to help plant shrubs and plants, as well as, help paint the mural. Thanks to the mural designers and everyone who came out and made it a big success!

Inaugural Planting Event - May 19th, 2012: The Pierce Avenue Community Garden officially opened its doors to the community. Students at Albert Einstein College of Medicine joined with members of the community to plant vegetables, flowers, and trees!
